CESA Conference 2018: Titanic Topics

CESA reveals details of Titans of Industry session

The Titans of Industry session has created an enormous amount of pre-event buzz for the 2018 CESA Conference.  The three participants are Klaus Goeldenbot, Group CEO of Nisbets, Steve Snower, CEO of Partstown and Alberto Zanata, CEO of Electrolux Professional (pictured).  They represent a cross section of the supply chain, being leaders in the distributor, spare parts supplier and the equipment manufacturer networks respectively.

The main focus of their discussion will be the impact of digitalisation.  For example, Klaus Goeldenbot will consider digitalisation and the value of the human touch.  He’ll also look at the importance of simplicity and speed for success in the supply chain.

The theme for this year’s conference is ‘Evolving in a Disruptive Environment.’  “Digitalisation is having a huge impact on our industry,” says Keith Warren, director of CESA.  “According to one recent study, it will drive more disruption in the next five years than industry has experienced in the last twenty.  Our Titans will look at how it has changed things, and what will happen in the future, from the impact of connectivity on design and service to the effect of the latest technology on the delivery of products.”

For 2018 the conference is at the De Vere Cotswold Water Park, taking place on Wednesday 14th and Thursday 15th November.  A variety of booking options is available to delegates, from simple attendance at the conference itself to two-day packages including both the informal dinner (14th November) and the gala dinner (15th November), as well as golf or another activity.  The event is open to all foodservice industry professionals, including equipment manufacturers, suppliers and dealers, consultants and operators.  CESA members receive a discount.  To find out more and book tickets visit cesaconference.co.uk
