British manufacturer applauds ‘one stop BIM shop’
British refrigeration manufacturer Precision has joined the CESABIM database. Dealers, designers and consultants will find all the company’s products listed there, ready for download in IFC format and fully compatible with all major BIM software packages.
“We recently completed a significant upgrade on our products and wanted to ensure the CESABIM database had all the very latest information,” says Nick Williams, managing director of Precision. “We are very supportive of the CESABIM initiative – having a ‘one stop BIM shop’ for catering equipment has to be helpful for designers and specifiers.”
Precision has also made both BIM and CAD files for all its products available from the Precision website. Users can simply go to the downloads area, click on the type of refrigeration, then select the CAD/BIM file for the model required.
Precision output up 50%
With Precision’s sales continuing to grow dynamically, the company completed a major investment programme in March 2015, which has resulted in output from the Thetford factory increasing by 50% year on year.
