TPW’s founder, managing director, teaboy and now elite athlete Tim Morgan is having yet another midlife crisis and has entered the Swimathon. He says, “Yes, I’m doing it. God knows why, I swore I’d never do it again. 5,000 metres, man and boy. It’s not like the cash comes to me, even. Still, if I raise enough mullah I get a t-shirt.” Tim is already in full training. “Rest is a vital part of the elite athlete’s programme, so I’m trying to get plenty,” he says.
He has a message for any would-be sponsors: “Go on, stick your hands in your pocket and make a difference to people living tough lives. And get me a t-shirt.”
