Samsung Professional Appliances will be exhibiting Samsung’s updated range of commercial microwave ovens, as well announcing the launch of new laundry equipment, designed for the catering market, on Nisbets stand at Hotelympia 2012.
Samsung’s recently re-launched range of commercial microwave ovens offers higher power on key models, alongside updated controls, upgraded construction and longer warranties. Samsung offers a comprehensive range of microwaves for the commercial kitchen, from ‘light duty‘ 1100 watt models to large-capacity, ‘super-heavy duty’ 1850 watt models with 2/3 gastronorm cooking areas.
The re-launched models include the new CM1079 ‘SnackMate’, Samsung’s light duty commercial model, which features full stainless steel construction, 1100 watts power output and the updated controls. At the other end of the range is the super-heavy duty CM1929, the latest version of which features a new fascia and control panel. All Samsung commercial microwave ovens are now backed by a three year parts and labour warranty.
Samsung’s new range of semi-professional laundry equipment features ecobubble™ technology, which can reduce energy consumption by up to 70% compared to conventional washers.
The ecobubble system generates bubbles before the wash cycle begins, by dissolving detergent in air and water. The detergent then penetrates fabric more quickly, evenly and deeply, which means operators can wash with cold water and still achieve perfectly clean results. In tests, the machines achieved just as good results at 15°C as conventional laundry equipment achieves at 40°C, saving both energy and cost.
Samsung’s laundry models are light-commercial designs, aimed at caterers, hoteliers and restaurateurs. There are two machines in the range, a washer with a drum capacity of 14kg, and a dryer with a capacity of 10kg.
