“Hayfever” today, “Masterchef” tomorrow.

Everyone who knows Toni knows her feelings on cooking. If it’s made by Aunt Bessie that’s great, if not then tough. Well eat your heart out Aunt Bessie! Toni has turned into a future contender for Masterchef 2012. Her role as props person for Aldborough Players has tested her culinary skills to the max.

Sliced bread, brown toast in fingers and triangles, smoked haddock, best bacon, scrambled eggs, followed by tea and cakes. All of which have been on the menu for the last few weeks for cast members of Aldborough Players’ version of Noel Coward’s Hayfever. Who would supply these delights?…….. Well the props person of course! Had she have known this was part of the deal when she agreed, all those months ago, to be in charge of props for the first time, would she have accepted?

I don’t know but the thought of Toni slaving over a hot cooker, freshly creating these culinary delights for each performance, as well as during rehearsals is……. priceless!
