Leading catering equipment manufacturer joins FEM portfolio
From 15th July 2011 Foodservice Equipment Marketing (FEM) will become UK master-distributor of the Alto-Shaam range. The partnership, which brings one of the world’s foremost foodservice cooking equipment manufacturers to the FEM portfolio, has been created to increase Alto-Shaam’s share of the UK market and to introduce the company’s new product lines.
Based in Menomonee Falls, Wisconsin, USA, Alto-Shaam manufactures a wide range of catering equipment including cook and hold ovens, smokers, combitherm ovens, convection ovens, rotisseries, fryers, heated holding cabinets and drawers and merchandising and display cases.
FEM is a UK market leader in the sales, marketing and distribution of foodservice equipment products. The company already represents a number of leading manufacturers including Cambro, Hamilton Beach, Manitowoc Ice Machines, Prince Castle, Sirman and Vollrath.
Amongst several new product lines FEM plans to market in coming months is Alto-Shaam’s AS-250 cook and hold oven, which offers all the benefits of the brand’s Halo Heat low temperature cooking technology in a countertop model that’s no bigger than a microwave oven.
