Call-Systems Technology wireless alarms keep lone workers safe

Pendant family How do you ensure your lone workers are safe? In medical environments there are often situations where a member of staff is alone in a corridor, fetching supplies or alone in a room with a patient. With Call-System Technology’s Inovonics Wireless EchoStream pendants if a member of staff has a crisis they simply push the button to transmit a signal that sets off an alarm, alerting management and security staff.

Depending on the model the EchoStream pendants can be worn on a necklace, belt clip, wristband or mounted in a fixed location. Water-resistant models are also available. All the units run on long-life 3V lithium batteries.  They can be supplied as single-button units or double-button versions, where both have to be pushed to minimise false alarms.

The smallest and lightest in the range, the EE1223S, weighs less than 40gm and comes with a neck cord and belt clip. It has a simple, single-button, “one-second press and hold” alarm making it suitable for a personal alarm for staff as well as in assisted living situations.
