Configurator creates Revit files of non-standard models
Following consultation with customers and business partners, Precision has created Revit versions of all its models. Revit files for the standard base models are available in the download area of the Precision website, along with CAD versions, and can also be found on CESABIM and SPECIFI.
However, Precision’s highly flexible product line can be configured to meet customers’ specific requirements – and the company wanted its Revit BIM files to be able to reflect this. “There are over 12,000 different standard configurations in our product range,” says Nick Williams, managing director of Precision. “Most consultants, designers and operators planning their kitchen use a variant rather than a standard product. We wanted them to be able use a BIM file of the specific variation they need – so we created a tool that allows them to do exactly that.” (more…)
