Norfolk youngsters’ determined drive in national Greenpower finals 13 October 2013: A team of 12 to 15 year olds from Wisbech Grammar School (WGS) battled for four hours through wet and windy weather at the 2013 Greenpower National Finals at Goodwood motor circuit. Sponsored by Kings Lynn refrigeration company Williams, they raced their Formula 24 car against 100 other teams of young engineers who had also made it through the regional heats.

Williams – the company that no-one wants to leave Williams Refrigeration in King’s Lynn recognises the outstanding contribution its loyal employees have made to its success in a special Long Service Award Lunch on Tuesday 3rd September at the company’s showroom. Dave Britton, John Freestone, Domonic Mace, Mark Rippon, Ray Woodhouse and Keith Panks have each been at Williams for 30 years, while Steve Bradbury, Angela Mowles, Carl Muffett and Lee Parkin have run up 20 years apiece.
