New system will cut CO2 emissions by 297 tonnes per year Kings Lynn-based refrigeration manufacturer Williams has had a massive photovoltaic solar panel system installed across two of its factory’s roofs. The system, comprising 2,298 panels, is one of the largest rooftop installations in Europe. The solar panels are expected to generate 496,000kWh of electricity per year, reducing the company’s annual CO2 emissions by 297 tonnes while cutting energy costs dramatically.
