Meal deliveries? The journey from counter to customer is in the bag

FEM’s Pujadas economy delivery bags make sure food reaches its destination just how it left the kitchen

There is no sign that the swing to home deliveries is faltering now restaurants are open again. The hospitality business is booming. Diners seem to be enjoying the best of both worlds, eating out and eating in. Quality is key for the home delivery market: products need to get to the customers in tip top condition.

FEM (Foodservice Equipment Marketing) has launched new competitively priced Pujadas economy delivery bags, designed to get cooked meals from the chef to the doorstep in premium condition. There are pizza bags and general catering bags available to suit all kinds of outlets specialising in home deliveries.

All versions are made from a thick, sturdy and easy to clean fabric so they remain looking smart throughout their service life. With good thermal insulation they maintain the temperature of pizza or other food items during delivery and protect them from damage. Reinforced handles for ease of transport and a hanging strap ensure the product is kept flat, avoiding spillage or crushing. There is also a transparent pocket on the closing flap for identification labels and codes.

There are four bag sizes, in a choice of colours.  The red pizza bags are available in two sizes: medium 16cm (h) x 45cm (w and d) and large 26cm (h) x 49.5cm (w and d). The black catering bags are available in small, 38cm (h) 30.5cm (w) 38cm in length, and large, 56cm (h) and 36cm (w and d).
