Kieron Baker joins FEM as Northern Regional Sales Manager

Rising star of the industry looking forward to helping customers old and new

Kieron Baker has joined Foodservice Equipment Marketing (FEM) as Regional Sales Manager for the North of England. Having already made his mark on the industry with his previous jobs, he will be working alongside regional partners, key and national accounts to better serve the needs of both new and existing customers.

Despite only being 28 years old, Kieron has an impressive list of professional achievements. After graduating from Leeds Beckett University with a BA in Sports Development he joined Victor Manufacturing Ltd as an Internal Sales Executive – it was here that he first met and worked with FEM’s current sales director, Mike Inwood.

Before long he had been promoted to the role of Area Sales Manager, covering the M62 corridor region, responsible for the sales management of standard products as well as front-of-house counter projects. He then moved to Lincat Ltd, at first looking after distributor accounts in the Eastern region before being given his own sales region covering the North West of England, North Wales, the West Midlands and Yorkshire and Humberside.

Kieron is excited by the challenges of his new job and is looking forward to working with Mike Inwood again. “Mike has built a great, dynamic team at FEM and I can’t wait to be part of it,” he says. “FEM has some of the world’s leading brands, and I’m eager to start working with dealers and end-users to help them take advantage of the products in their businesses.”

FEM is renowned for its customer service approach and the long-standing relationships it builds, and these remain top priorities for the sales team under the leadership of Mike Inwood. He says, “It’s a testament to Kieron’s attitude and willingness to learn and improve himself that he has quickly established himself as someone to watch in the industry.  I know he will continue to impress here at FEM.”

“I’m looking forward to getting stuck into this new role,” says Kieron. “It’s going to be a great chance to continue developing my knowledge, as well as driving the Northern Sales Region to new heights.”

Kieron and his partner Eleanor recently married.  In their spare time, the couple enjoy cooking and eating out, as well as exploring the Holmfirth Valley area with their boxer dog.
