Rational named ‘Brand of the Century’

Award recognises the trust that customers have in Rational cooking systems

Rational has been named “Brand of the Century” in awards organised by German publisher Zeit-Verlag.  Rational’s Robert Munday, EVP Marketing & Customer Solutions, and Thomas Pfeiffer, EVP DACH, accepted the award from media expert Dr Florian Langenscheidt at a ceremony in February 2022.

With its current iCombi and iVario cooking systems, the specialist in hot food preparation is one of Germany’s leading brands and symbolises the cooking systems product category. “This award makes us proud,” said Robert Munday.  “It encourages and energises us to continue working on our most important objective: creating customer benefit.”

Thomas Pfeiffer adds: “The Brand of the Century is not given every year, it’s valid for the foreseeable future, and is a permanent legacy for Rational.”

In deciding on the awards, Dr. Langenscheidt and a panel of experts from Zeit-Verlag selected several brands and carried out a three-stage evaluation.  Robert Munday says, “A B2B brand like Rational relies on trust. We are delighted that our customers place so much trust in our brand that we have made it to “Brand of the Century.”
