Utopia’s double walled glasses – great on the eye, great in the hand

Double walled glasses are great for keeping hot drinks hot and cold drinks cold, they are comfortable to hold, protect hands from hot and cold and what’s more they show off the drinks in an interesting way. The beverage appears suspended inside the glass surround.

Utopia has launched a range of double walled glasses to cover a load of drink options from steaming hot coffee to ice cold bubbly. All are made from bora silica glass, which has a high resistance to extremes of temperatures. They are ideal for use in restaurants, cafes and bars and other catering outlets.

The rounded, squat double walled Buddha mugs are equally suited to coffees, teas or other beverages. Designed for stability and hugability, the Buddha mug has a capacity of 14oz (39cl), it is 95mm high and available in boxes of six

The double walled stemless champagne glass is perfect for serving champagne, prosecco and other sparkling wines. It keeps the bubbly cooler for longer, spot-on for those who like to savour their drink, while the bubbles look really pretty magnified through the double walls. Available in a 6oz (16cl) size, the stemless glass measures 160mm high.

To add some colour to the table Utopia also supplies double walled tumblers in amber, blue and green. These provide a stunning alternative to traditional water glasses and can be mixed or matched with any table setting. They are practical too, keeping the water cool as the meal progresses. The tumblers stand 105mm high and are available in boxes of six.
