FEA webinar aims to offer insight into post-coronavirus growth

‘Playbook’ concept shows how foodservice equipment companies can plan through uncertainty

When will the lockdown be lifted? How will foodservice operators, suppliers and competitors respond as restrictions are slowly, perhaps unevenly rolled back? And what will need to change for foodservice equipment suppliers to comply with any new, post-Covid 19 regulations?

This Friday, April 24th, at 11am FEA is to run a webinar called A playbook for recovery: how to use uncertainty to power your growth. It looks at how FEA members can combine short term strategies and agile, flexible plans, to win market share even in these most unpredictable of times.

The webinar will be led jointly by Keith Warren, chief executive of the FEA, and business advisor and foodservice industry specialist Martyn Drake.

“Right now, nobody knows how or when the lockdown will end,” says Warren.  “Businesses have a clear choice: they can either wait and react on a daily basis, with leaders having to work it all out on the hoof; or they can adopt an inclusive, flexible, adaptive approach to planning for the future.  We’ll show how this second way, the ‘playbook’ concept, can give a company’s people the clarity and reassurance they need now, while enabling the business to burst out of the gate at lightning speed the moment the opportunity comes.”

The webinar is free to all FEA members and will cover:
• The playbook approach
• Lessons from lockdown
• Secrets of strategic agility
• Options and innovations
• Where championships are won

“Martyn and I will be taking as many specific questions from the audience as we can,” says Warren.  “We aim to provide frameworks, insights and advice, to help them position their business for the fastest possible return to rapid growth.”

The webinar is part of a series FEA is putting on for its members.  For access contact sj.campbell@fea.org.uk
