New chargrills and fryers join popular British-manufactured cookline
Falcon Foodservice Equipment has extended its Dominator Plus series of prime cooking appliances with three new models – two electric chargrills and a twin-pan electric fryer. All three deliver the rugged construction, high performance and good looks that have made Falcon’s Dominator Plus so popular with chefs across the UK.
The two electric chargrills feature powerful elements that reach temperature even more quickly than gas, making them ideal for kitchens that can’t, or prefer not to, use gas appliances. Food is cooked directly on the elements, delivering the classic chargrill branding. The E3925 is a 900mm-wide unit with two elements, with independent controls so that in quiet periods only one needs to operate, saving energy. The E3625 is 600mm wide and has one element. In both models the elements can be swivelled upwards for ease of cleaning.
The E3865 electric fryer has two independently controlled pans, offering great flexibility, efficiency and performance. The two 10kW elements deliver fast heat-up times, reaching frying temperature from cold in just nine minutes and giving an output of 54kgs of chips per hour from 48 litres of oil. The fryer offers a temperature range of 130 -190°C, with a safety thermostat which automatically switches off the unit if the oil gets too hot.
As with all Dominator Plus appliances, the new models include a host of practical features to make life easier for kitchen staff. For example, the chargrills have magnetic side screens that prevent spatter on adjacent equipment and a removable drip tray that doesn’t need water, while the fryer is supplied with a lid and has a large-diameter drain valve for quick and efficient oil draining.
