FEM's Ian Brealey, centre, with managing director Harry Hogan, left, and sales director Jim Doherty.Foodservice Equipment Marketing (FEM) has appointed Ian Brealey as sales manager for the North of England and Scotland. Ian is very well known to the dealer network, having spent 25 years selling catering equipment and working with distributors on behalf of a variety of leading companies, most recently Nayati Ltd.

“We’re truly delighted to welcome Ian to the team,” says Harry Hogan, managing director of FEM.  “He’s a sales professional with vast experience and he knows how the catering equipment business works through and through. He has the knowledge and perception to help distributors when it comes to finding the right equipment solution for their customers’ needs.”

Ian will be responsible for dealer support and will be promoting FEM’s extensive portfolio of products.   “I’m really fired up to be joining FEM,” he says. “They have a great range, with top brands from quality manufacturers. I’m looking forward to meeting up with the distributors again – and to talking to them about our many specialist areas, from food preparation, food storage, heating and holding, ice making and blast chillers to cookware and kitchen utensils!”

Ian is married with two grown up children and lives in Manchester, which he says is the ideal base to cover his sales area.  When he’s not working he mixes outdoor pursuits, such as hill walking and mountain climbing, with more leisurely interests like reading and going to concerts.
