CFSP helps catering equipment suppliers ‘raise their game’

Two new courses build business through excellence in customer relations

CESA has expanded the CFSP programme with the launch of two new training modules, both aimed primarily at catering equipment suppliers and both tailored specifically to the foodservice market.

The Sales Relationship Management course lasts two days and focuses on ways for sales professionals to enhance client relationships by integrating product knowledge into their work.  It is aimed at account managers, project managers and other personnel who interact directly with customers.

The Foundations of Service and Sales course lasts one day and is designed to help office-based project management teams, customer service and sales personnel to improve their interaction and communications with customers.  It is suitable for any staff who interact with customers and will help them recognise and build on sales opportunities.

Both courses are ‘stand-alone’ modules, which don’t require the student to have taken the main CFSP qualification.  Having said that, the Sales Relationship Management course links in very well with the CFSP curriculum.

“These courses are all about delivering excellence in terms of customer relationships,” says Simon Frost, chair of CESA.  “It was important that they matched the high standards we have set with the CFSP programme; they’ve been developed for us by Richard Denny of Denny Training, who was described by the Daily Telegraph as ‘the guru of sales’.

“By improving the professionalism of staff dealing with customers they will help catering equipment suppliers to raise their game and increase business growth.”

Both courses will run for the first time during April 2016.  To find out more contact Jocelyn Carr at CESA, on 0207 793 3029 or jocelyn.carr@cesa.org.uk
