Williams' coldrooms offer a the perfect solutionFor butchers coldrooms are an essential part of their operation. Meat needs to be stored at safe temperatures prior to sale and some cuts need to be hung to age correctly. However not all premises lend themselves to accommodate a standard coldroom.

Williams offers a truly flexible coldroom solution, featuring a modular construction and a range of panel sizes that allow designers to create bespoke rooms to virtually any size or shape.  These can be assembled on-site, overcoming any accessibility problems.

To enhance storage capacity and simplify maintenance, Williams coldrooms have a removable POD refrigeration system.  There is also the option of movable partition walls for dual compartment rooms, such as for chilled and frozen storage.  The walls can be moved to increase or decrease space, depending on, for example, seasonal stock variations.  Fully rebate doors eliminate the risk of trolley damage.

Where space is really limited Williams can supply exterior cold rooms that can be sited adjacent to buildings. For optimum thermal efficiency Williams has developed 90mm, zero ODP foam insulated panels.

Williams is the only manufacturer to offer roof and wall panels with camlocks, which are securely foamed into tongue and groove joints for a tight-locking, stable structure.  These eliminate the risk of ice build up in joints and ensure the ‘thermal envelope’ is 100%, assisting with BREEAM accreditation.  To this end, Williams also offers thermal imaging, so that operators can confirm the efficiency of their coldroom.
