Rational wins the CEDA Heavy

Rational has won the Heavy Equipment Supplier of the Year Award from CEDA, the Catering Equipment Distributors Association.  The award recognises excellence for ‘the complete package’, including product range, product quality, customer service, after sales service and distributor support.  It is voted for by members of CEDA.

Lee Norton, managing director of Rational UK, accepted the award from Jack Sharkey, chair of CEDA, at a ceremony during the gala dinner at the annual CEDA conference in April. 

“I’m very, very proud to accept the Heavy award,” says Lee.  “It’s all the sweeter because it’s our distributor partners who choose the winner.

“We work very hard to give them and their customers the best support we can, we put a big emphasis on listening to their issues and we try to be as flexible and responsive as possible,” he adds.  “It’s great to know that distributors think we’re getting it right – and it’s absolutely brilliant that the efforts of the Rational team have been recognised in this way.”
