Williams’ Complete ‘Grab & Go’ Refrigeration Solution at Lunch!

Stand M307, Lunch! 26 – 27 September 2013, Business Design Centre, London.

Williams the complete refrigeration solutionWilliams Refrigeration will be showcasing its complete solution for ‘Grab & Go’ refrigeration applications on stand M307 at Lunch 2013! The exhibition gives visitors the opportunity to take a closer look at Williams’ stylish and efficient refrigeration.

The Williams range on show includes front of house display refrigeration, such as the latest Gem Sandwich Chiller, Gem Pastry Chiller and the popular Gem Multideck series, as well as undercounter refrigeration for back of house storage. The ‘Grab & Go’ range combines aesthetics with functionality, maximising the display area and appeal, whilst delivering high performance chilled and freezer storage.

Williams’ Gem Multidecks feature a host of energy saving features and options. The entire range features energy-saving LED strip lighting as standard, which enhances display and improves the visibility of merchandise.

The recently introduced Sliding Front Door range of Multidecks guarantees uniform temperatures to keep produce clean and fresh, while significantly reducing energy consumption by up to 50% compared to standard open-fronted merchandisers.

The energy efficient features on the Gem Multidecks emphasise Williams’ focus on sustainability. Through its Greenlogic initiative the company is committed to supplying the most eco-friendly refrigeration possible. Find out more at www.greenlogic.info. The Gem Multideck is available in a choice of standard or slimline versions, as well as a wide choice of colours and finishes.

Also being showcased is the Gem Sandwich Chiller, featuring an open-fronted, self-service cabinet which uses an energy-efficient ‘air-curtain’ system to recycle the cold air which can be wasted in more conventional designs. According to Williams, the Gem Sandwich Chiller is the most sustainable open access ‘Grab & Go’ refrigeration unit on the market.

“The Sandwich Chiller is ideal for the kind of ‘Grab and Go’ establishments we expect to see at Lunch! 2013,” says Martin Laws, Marketing Manager of Williams.  “Not only is it easy on the eyes, it maximises retail display space, improves food safety and reduces running costs.”

Gem Pastry Chillers are perfect for front of house display and serve assist operations, with a closed glass front and rear loading doors giving staff easy access for restocking and serving.  The classy merchandiser, model number PC900, provides a practical, safe solution that combines an energy-efficient refrigeration system with a clever layout to maximise every millimetre of retail display space.

The advanced refrigeration system in the PC900 enables the unit to achieve a very fast pull-down time, from ambient to the required temperature, which reduces energy consumption. The attractive exterior is matched by the bright interior, with LED lighting and glass shelves.

Williams will also be displaying part of its Amber range, including its compact undercounter unit with high performance front-vented refrigeration system, and CoolSmart controller, for reduced energy consumption. Precision injection, high density polyurethane insulation provides excellent thermal efficiency with low GWP (Global Warming Potential) and zero ODP (Ozone Depletion Potential).

The company has produced a series of videos aimed at making sure customers get the most out of their refrigeration. These videos will be screened on the Williams stand at Lunch!. Most are just over a minute in length and provide information in a concise and easily accessible format. Some longer videos look in more detail at the features and benefits of specific Williams cabinets.
