True beer dispenser fills the gap at Milton Keynes
The DoubleTree by Hilton Milton Keynes, a 127 bed roomed hotel, is built into the West stand of the 32,000 seater Stadium MK. It’s a paradise for football fans as guests can enjoy pitch-facing views, offering direct access from balconies to seating during match days when combined with corporate hospitality. The hotel also has very large conference facilities for up to 1000 people, smaller meeting rooms, suites, and coming soon further exhibition space along with an increase in bedroom stock of another 175 rooms making the total 302.
However some of the function and conference areas don’t have a main bar which was proving difficult when holding multiple events. The solution was to install a True TDD-3 draught beer dispenser.
The TDD-3 is a self-contained unit measuring 940mm high x 1756mm wide x 689mm deep. It has two 77 mm diameter stainless steel insulated beer columns and the capacity to hold three 11 gallon kegs. It also comes as a counter top option, with an easy to reach refrigerated storage area under a slide top, for chilled glasses or other products.
The TDD units are self-contained, can be plugged into the main electricity supply and do not require plumbing. Their premium, chilled draught beer can be served at any location. In operation cold air is directed into the beer column to reduce foaming and wastage and the unit holds the beer at 0.5°C to 3.3°C.
