The 20 second daiquiri

Foodservice Equipment Marketing supplies the Rio blender: perfect for summer drinks and dips

FEM supplies the Rio Blender perfect for summer drinks and dips

When cocktails need to be served fast the Hamilton Beach Rio blender from Foodservice Equipment Marketing gets the job done with no fuss. Using crushed ice, the Rio blends 0.5 litre drinks in just 20 seconds and is also great for salsas, dips, sauces and other recipes.

With two speeds and a pulse option the Rio offers versatility and precision blending for a wide variety of drinks from simple non-alcoholic fruit smoothies to more complex alcoholic daiquiris or margaritas. The speed of blending means that orders for multiple cocktails can be fulfilled quickly and easily.

Blending is not only fast but also efficient due to the four durable stainless steel cutting and mixing blades that effortlessly cut through ice and other ingredients. The design of the container ensures the mixture is continually forced down onto the blades, resulting in smooth, lump-free drinks and sauces.

To prevent wear, a sensor turns the motor off when the container is not on the base properly. The break-resistant polycarbonate container has easy-to-read measurement marks and is stackable for storage. FEM supplies the Rio with a full two-year parts and labour warranty.

There are two sizes of blender available; the HBB250-UK with a 0.5 HP motor and 1.25 litre capacity container, and the HBB250S-UK which comes with a smaller 0.95 litre container. Extra containers can be purchased separately to further speed up drinks preparation.
