FEM’s Hamilton Beach blenders make short work of mixing up festive cocktails

FEM's Hamilton Beach blenders make short work of mixing up festive cocktails It’s important for cocktail blenders to be fast and reliable – especially so over the festive period, when the orders are coming thick and fast over the bar. But they also need to produce perfectly smooth drinks time after time after time. The Tango blender from Hamilton Beach is the dependable solution during this busy time.

Hamilton Beach blenders, the top of the range American-designed machines supplied in the UK by Foodservice Equipment Marketing (FEM), always give silky-smooth cocktails, no matter what the ingredients.

The Tango blender has a two-speed, 1hp motor that drives four durable stainless steel cutting and mixing blades to quickly slash through ice and other ingredients. A pulse setting is available for tough ingredients that require a bit of extra power. The blender is so efficient that a 0.5 litre cocktail or other icy drink can be mixed up in just 15 seconds.

A special Wave Action system continually forces the mixture down onto the blades for consistently smooth results. Also the blender is fitted with an automatic shut-off timer freeing up bar staff for other duties.

For safety and to help prevent operator misuse a sensor turns the motor off when the container is not in place on the base. The 1.4 litre container is stackable for easy storage and made from break-resistant polycarbonate material with easy-to-read measurement marks.

FEM’s Christmas cocktail suggestion – a Winter White Russian with chocolate sprinkles.

Put equal parts of Kahlua and vodka into the blender. Add two scoops of vanilla ice cream and blend until smooth and frothy. Pour into a glass, top with chocolate shavings and pop in a long-handled spoon to finish off.
