“We are now working on the next generation of dish and glass washers, and want to be sure we are giving the market what it needs. So we have to focus on what caterers are thinking and actually looking for. What are their priorities in dishwashing? What do they want to see improved?”

The survey, being conducted simultaneously around the world, can be found on www.my-dream-machine.biz. It invites restaurateurs, chefs, publicans, catering managers and any other hospitality professionals to complete the simple on-line questionnaire and have a say in the future of warewashing.

Those that fill in the questionnaire will have the opportunity to win one of 25 undercounter glass or dishwashers worth up to £6000. The winners will be chosen at random from all the responses.

“We aren’t making any prediction of the survey results,” added Paul Crowley. “But it’s an opportunity for catering professionals to directly influence research and development in catering technology – and win a dishwasher into the bargain.”
