A Christmas carvery anywhere, anytime with Moffat’s V Carte units.

For an instant Christmas carvery wheel in Moffat’s mobile V Carte carvery units

Moffat mobile carvery unit finished in American Maple Everyone loves roast meat at Christmas time. Traditionalists just can’t get enough turkey but serving chicken or a hearty joint of roast beef as well offers diners a real choice. Carveries are an excellent way of displaying succulent roasts and allowing the smell of the meat to permeate the dining area, but not everywhere has room for a dedicated carvery area.

Using Moffat’s range of stylish mobile V Carte carvery units a temporary carvery can be set up anywhere to display and serve beautifully-cooked roasts to Christmas diners. The carveries can be wheeled in position in the dining area and just as quickly away, freeing up space for special Christmas entertainment or additional seating.

The carvery units are completely self-contained – an instant carvery on wheels. They have two heated carving pads with holding spikes and a heated bain marie above a heated storage cupboard. All the caterer has to do is plug it into a nearby standard 13Amp socket – no special wiring is required.

The stainless steel carving pads are thermostatically controlled for an even heat distribution and the bain marie with fan assisted heating unit can accommodate various combinations of gastronorm pans up to 150mm deep for sauces and vegetables. A pop-up plate dispenser at one end of the unit can take up to 65 plates of between 8" and 12" diameter. Mounted above the unit is a quartz heated gantry complete with curved glass sneeze guard.

The carvery units are stylishly finished in either American Maple, Academy Maple, Russian Maple or Mahogany to suit most decors. The overall dimensions are 1490mm x 680 depth with a serving height of 900mm. Four semi-obscured heavy duty lockable casters ensure both ease of movement and stability.
