Apuro launches new energy saving commercial laundry range

Apuro has launched a new range of Whirlpool commercial laundry equipment which offers much smaller energy bills for smaller commercial users, while still delivering full professional washing power in a small unit. And to ensure reliability and budgeting, Apuro is, remarkably, offering them with a fully inclusive two-year commercial guarantee.

Called the Pro 6 range, the new Whirlpool machines employ exclusive washing and drying technologies called ‘6th Sense’ to detect the type and size of load and use only the minimum of energy, water and detergent costs.  The new machines have built-in sensors that calculate the amount of water required for the particular load, control the water temperature and wash cycle and thus reduce a site’s overall laundry bills.

The Pro 6 models are designed to appeal to caterers and small-scale hoteliers, the care home market, and other commercial sites that need smaller but professional quality laundry equipment, capable of working consistently and reliably.

The Pro 6 washer has a large 6kg capacity, a very fast 1400 spin speed and a variety of sophisticated features including start delay of up to 19 hours, variable temperatures and spin speeds to suit the fabrics, a blue LCD display, an anti-bacterial program, advanced A – AB Class wash and energy performance, and an Aquastop safety system to guard against flood emergencies.  Included are many specialist programs, including for wool or delicates and rapid washes.

Also available is a companion Pro 6 dryer that offers the same large 6kg capacity with all-round heavy-duty construction. To allow for heavy commercial use it includes a condenser system that removes the need for venting, an overdry protection system, front filter access, interior light to show operation, and LED indicator lights on the control panel.  The Pro 6 dryer’s condenser system incorporates a bottle container to allow condensed water to drain away or to be connected directly to the drain for heavy use.
